We are only 2 weeks into Evolved collagen being on sale and we are already putting in another order with the manufacturer. It is going out faster than the sweets on Halloween, but without giving you advanced glycation end-products (AGE’s). The skin, bones, cartilage, ligaments and tendons of the UK are feeling more youthful already. To celebrate this, below is a link to the patient…
This week we have been enjoying some relaxed time off with the kids and on Tuesday we headed to Marwell zoo. We had a right old time, and finally got to see the snow leopard, who is normally nowhere to be seen, aka hiding in their cave thingy wishing for actual snow. This time he/she (couldn’t tell, let’s say it’s a her), was in fine…
If there is one thing me and our cat, Caesar, have in common, it is we are both huge fans of offal. Here he is post raw liver. At long last it is here !! From Monday you can order your Evolved Collagen. A few weeks back, we took a look at glycine and its effects on the immune system. https://lessons.academyofchiropracticnutrition.com/glycine-the-missing-link/ And before that talked about HOW collagen works. https://lessons.academyofchiropracticnutrition.com/collagen-two-routes-to-better-joints-and-skin/ Two ways: Giving the body aminos to build and stimulating the cells to produce. “What harms insects also harms people” are wise words spoken by the German Environment Minister Svenja Schulze. She was speaking about the banning of the weed killer glyphosate (branded as Roundup by Monsanto) in Germany from 2023. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/sep/04/germany-ban-glyphosate-weedkiller-by-2023 And she has a good point. For many, many years now, the world of functional medicine/nutrition has been concerned that the weed killer might be exceptionally bad…

Glycine is about to go mainstream, and here is why: – When you are low in glycine, your immune system is “primed” for an over reaction to provocation into a sustained inflammatory response. Check it out, they expose immune cells to a toxin from bacteria called LPS, the immune cells react and begin to depolarise i.e. they are going to start producing inflammation fast. But…
I am still on holiday and enjoying the sun kissed beaches of Southbourne, celebrating Iris turning 13 !! Thus Glycine and its amazing functions will have to wait. For now, let’s revisit a thought I had back in 2019…… Can you imagine living being a hundred years old and meeting up with the same friends for the last 90 years? On the island of Okinawa,…
